You act like this is some kind of leftist thing? Maybe the police overstepped their power and wanted to put someone famous in their place?
I would be considered right wing and respect the police as whole I don't go out of my way to boot lick or bow down to them and if they would come at me on a power trip I'm not backing down

My buddy noticed a guy passed out in a truck in his next door neighbor's driveway the other day. The neighbor had no clue who this guy was. When the neighbor confronted him, he woke up out of his stupor, was obviously either very high or drunk or both, and tried to pull out of his driveway, ended up backing into a ditch and getting stuck.

The police came, and they didn't give this guy a field sobriety test, arrest him-nothing. They acutally tried to help him get out of the ditch and were going to let him drive home, but they couldn't get the car out. So they called a towtruck, and told my buddy and his neighbor that they were going to give him a ride home.

When the neighbor questioned the cop over this bizarre, unbelievable scenario, the cops got an attitude with the neighbor and ordered him to stand down and let them handle it. No clue who that dude knew, or was related to, or had on those cops. My buddy watched the whole thing go down.

Point is, you are correct, police are often power drunk dickheads, and sometimes the temptation to call them out on it is too much, and it can unfortunately get you into trouble if you push it too far.
