re: Tell me about Franklin, LA

It's a microcosm of a decaying town in South Louisiana with terrible schools and a rising crime. Lots of beautiful old homes a stones throw from the ghetto. It's proximity to ports and the sugar industry is keeping it from becoming completely irrelevant. Most middle class folks there send their kids to private schools or commute from Broussard/Youngsville.
