i'm not saying he was the sole reason we lost with this thread.
I simply wanted to point out that nothing has really changed with him. He's still the same guy that won't throw the ball down field and has zero pocket presence.
We can without win games, and win big games with him at QB, with the right play calling.
He's still not a good QB though, adn we have to stop asking him to do things he simply isn't capable of doing.

I'm not here to bash him into the ground, but he is the QB of a big time program, so be prepared to take the heat.

Our Oline was terrible, and our WRs were probably worst than JD, but that doesn't excuse blaming the QB for a bad performance as well.

Calling out 5 bad plays out of 37 pass attempts isn’t really solidifying a QB change though.

I agree Teddy. It seems clear he will never be a great/elite passer. I think his elite running is detriment to him developing into an elite passer because his fail safe is to scramble and run instead of trying to pass until theres no time left to pass.
