I feel like he gets some unnecessary hate lol. I don’t really get it. He sends the right message to his guys too.

People hate what they don’t understand. They see the glitz and glamour of Deion but don’t stop and listen to what he’s actually saying

I think it's because there's still this idea that coaches and players need to "be humble" to be successful and he has never been that.
A lot of people think that humble people are supposed to win, arrogant people are supposed to lose. When it doesn't happen like that it drives people up the wall.
