He used to show up at Jazz Fest 1970’s my father was huge fan I grew up on his music. In addition to catching him at JF we went to several concerts. He would always show up in a bar in NO area under a cover name. And back in the day with no cell phones it was nice because if you were a fan you recognized those “fake band” names and got to see a great show.
