I read once that he had the most profitable NAME in entertainment.

frick the haters. Jimmy was a Time Machine for me in my late teens and early 20s and took me to a better place in my heart when I needed a friend BADLY.

He lived life like a modern savage, a pirate poet with a story and a pull on a bottle of rum for his friend in need. He loved Louisiana and New Orleans dearly. This one hurts RIP.

Well said.

He was always great at Jazz Fest. Esp in 2019 when he came out dressed as a blind ref following the Nola no-call game.
