If a Republican voter dislikes Trump more than they dislike Biden or some other Democrat possibility becoming President, as well as a willingness to cede Congressional majorities to the Dems, if that’s what it takes to withhold a vote for even just a Trump endorsed candidate…….. then I would have zero faith that those particular people have the sense or wherewithal to be reasoned with. All the whole Democrats are loving it.

And I have zero faith that the multiple voters here (20% of Trump's base by Gumbo's estimate) who would write in Trump were he to lose the primary or not vote at all have the sense or wherewithal to be reasoned with.
But that doesn't make the problem disappear.
