BBQ USA Season 2 Ep. 5 - Breaux Bridge, LA!

Check out the Food Network's BBQ USA with Michael Symon - Season 2, Episode 5 - He showcased a BBQ Competition in Breaux Bridge this March with 50+ cooks called Operation Smoke Sheaux that raised money for local Veterans Organizations. They did a great job of highlighting our local culture and lots of local BBQ Cooks!!

That was a really good episode. Plenty of interesting characters. Bill Purvis came in a wrecked shop though.

Is it blind tasting? How do they distinguish between 50-60 offerings with any accuracy?

100% Blind. In fact - we don't know who the winner is until we call out the number on the ticket and they show us they have the matching ticket.
Picking the 'best' out of 50-60 isn't as hard as you would think...
