Our old neighborhood has seen better days. I drive by it sometimes when I'm in the area, but I haven't been inside it in over 20 years. My dad still owns the place but rents it out.

My inlaws bought the house I grew up in. About 5 miles from where I now live. I'm amazed 2 adults and 3 boys managed in such (relatively) tight quarters. Std ranch style single story approx 2200 s.f.

I inherited my childhood home. Was there a few days ago and try to spend at least a week a month there. I never thought of it as anything but a house from the 60s until both my folks died and I started going through the mountains (literally) of stuff they and accumulated (plus stuff from my grandparents). It was like reliving your life. I love going there now.
I went by the location of my grandmother's house once. There were three tri-plexes there now. Gone were the coconut palms, mango trees, and key lime tree. It was pretty depressing.
