You’re correct but I could see the benefits of using this initially to drop weight and try to change eating habits. A lot of really obese people have a hard time dieting because they’ve trained their body to eat so much and feel hungry when they diet. Suppressing the appetite here would help overcome that hurdle. Also could help confidence to see fast results which could lead to motivation to go to the gym. A lot of people lose motivation after working out for a few weeks and seeing little change because it takes so long to see results
