As I look across the board for 2010, there seems to be a large contengent of big-time players that have a legit interest in hopping on the Johnson Steamroller.

I don't know but too bad we can't take away Eddie Ludwig's offer. Saw him play last night. I'll have my evaluation of him up on the recruiting board tomorrow. And it isn't pretty.

5 seniors this season, so 5 open scholarships. Dotson and Ludwig have already signed (early signing period) so both of those guys are locked in.

3 open scholarships to give. No way they sign for all 3 spots, I'd bet on them signing 1 more in spring, have a 3 man class, and carry the 2 leftover slots to next year in addition to Tas and Farrer's (which would give us 4 for the class of 2010).

That's dissapointing to hear about Ludwig. I haven't seen him play personally, but had heard great reviews from the Top 28 in Lafayette last season where he was the leading scorer in the tourney. Hopefully it's just a slump he's going through.

So you're evaluating him on one game? Is that fair? Why not his AAU season or his Jr. year when he averaged more than 20 and 13.

When you have been around basketball your whole life and have played with or against multiple D1 players and even some players that are in the NBA today, yes it is easy to tell when someone can play or not play.

I've talked to several coaches in the state who have seen him play multiple times and have themselves put players in college and the pros, and they differ in your opinion...

Ludwig was a great signing. If he is an
un-athletic as some make him sound, then he must be the great fundamentalist.

Players like Ty Thomas, Storm Warren, Chris Johnson ect. need to practice daily with a forward who can
execute a reverse-pivot, a left-handed bounce pass, splendid form on his shot, ect.
