And I know that. I think I watched all the way up to the final episode or two of S1. It was a very well made show. I'm not sure on the budget, but you'd think it was high dollar based on the way it looks.
I just couldn't disconnect. Once they got to the clones political stuff I just couldn't anymore. The clones had basically become the main/most compelling part of the story. I just couldn't watch a Foundation show that's mainly about something that didn't even exist in Foundation
I think I've seen I, Robot a few times. All before I read the books. After reading the book I'm like ok yea that would have been impossible to do that book correctly. Even though they went with the wrong theme. I don't agree with the "you can't do a Foundation true to the source" argument. You can. I'm not saying it's the easiest source to follow, but it's possible to do it without completely changing the entire story.
*sigh*
