Silver Airways MSY-JAX

Anybody out there familiar with Silver or has flown this route? Just trying to make sure I’m not getting into anything horrible.
The wife and are heading to St Augustine for a long weekend and the flight fits our schedule perfectly. The free carry on is a plus because that is all we will need. I’m not scared of the budget lines, have flown Spirit, Frontier, and Allegiant before. I also see they fly ATRs which doesn’t bother me as I have flown those plenty of times on Delta regional flights. However Trip Advisor reviews are horrible but then again who goes on Trip Advisor to say that their flight was on time. Per FlightAware for the past few weeks there have been a few delays but nothing major. Am I missing something?

Did the exact same thing for lsu/Florida game last year. Flew msy to jax on silver and stayed in St Aug. it was a great time. The flight was a little delayed but nothing bad. It’s a small airplane that loads back to front. Didn’t cost anything to pick your seat once check in opened. I’d suggest picking a seat in the back so you’ll get off first.
