I hate to break it to you, but it's not 2018 anymore. The transfer rules have completely changed the game, and stacking HS recruiting classes is not how rosters are built anymore. Case in point, 50% of McMahon's first signing class is already gone. That's not a knock on McMahon. That just the way college basketball is now. It's not out of the realm of possibility that even if LSU has a good season this year that they will go into next season with only 1 (maybe none) of that first signing class on the roster. Coaches have to be able to get returns from their HS players in 1-2 years. It's not a "building process" any longer.

Absolutely (Wade did too, as do the coaches for every other sport on campus). The campus and city is never more "alive" than on the weekend of a home football game. If you are trying to sell the school/atmosphere, that is the time to do it. Having a guy in for a visit on a cold weekend in January while he attends a half-full PMAC is not exactly appealing
