Oh bullshite.

I've been caught by people who thought a sucker punch was going to matter and they punched a helluva lot harder than any woman on the planet.

A trained fighter will be crisper not telegraphed, and targeted... But she isn't punching as hard as a drunk frat guy or your average lineman.

Physics.

Also, a trained fighter is going to know the risk of punching without gloves. The average person in a bar fight swings for the fricking fences with zero regard for the bones in their hand.

With any female fighter that size, my concern is calf kicks and speed. Fighting straight on rather than with one foot forward would be an absolute necessity. Otherwise you have zero chance of responding quickly enough to check a kick.

And at that point you had better be extremely confident in your defense and chin.

I think your post is agreeing with me.

Again, I think I'm agreeing with you. Going off topic...if true these sucker punches weren't thrown by a professional male fighter of any size. If so, you would have been down/incapacitated. So yes, training matters.
