It definitely does. But also has tremendous downside.
Example…last year you draft Aj Brown as your #1 wr bc you like his skill set. A few rds later you need a QB and you have Kyler and Russell Wilson ahead of Hurts on your rankings but they are close.
You say to yourself, well I like AJ and he is my #1. So for him to do well, Hurts needs to perform. Let’s role the dice and bump up Hurts a few spots…that decision is a League championship.
