You're entitled to your opinion. Maybe you aren't one of the many douche bags here that talk down on everyone that doesn't do a football game just the way they envision everyone should. I apologize for lumping you in with them.

I don't see what's hypocritical about being ok with going to the game after some drinking at a tailgate, but not being ok with bringing an infant to the game.
Again not trying to tell others what to do, especially with their kids, but this thread was about advice and so I gave mine as a father of a kid roughly the same age as OP's.
