You probably don’t want ‘old school’ like you think you do. Many don’t embrace diagnostics like they could for best patient outcomes. It’s a fine line between old enough to have experience and young enough to be up to date on the best medical practice. I see cases all the time where illness or disease is missed or misdiagnosed due to the diagnostic process.

No, not literally, but somewhere where the dogs vet is the one that sees the dog. Not the roulette wheel of vets who rotate in and out of this particular practice. As I said in the OP, I don't want to hold for 15 minutes every time I call either. I've been forgotten by them for nearly a half hour on several occasions and had to call in again only to be put on hold once more.

To be perfectly clear, just better more personalized service like many vets in BR used to give. Is that too much to ask for?
