re: A/c working to death

Ours is definitely working hard, but my thermostat sends me an e-mail every month that records usage YOY, and it ran almost 140 hours less in May and 120 less in June. We replaced the old unit in December 2022, so clearly the new one is running far less than the old one.

While we’re at work, the house is set to 73, and it generally won’t get back to 71 until 11:00pm or so. But the heat index is 110-115 every day, so I don’t expect much less. I need to price spray foam again, although I’m sure it’s outrageous
