I get that, just think it's likely to be a pleasant surprise how strong he is and how it translates to other areas. His ability to separate could be crazy

Yeah I mean him becoming a great blocker would be ideal. He has a physical profile that makes that possible. It's just unlikely that he can develop at both while here, and we do NOT want him developing as a blocker at the expense of developing as a receiver.

That sort of development takes 2-3 years in the NFL (after 3-4 in college) with NFL coaching for most TEs to get competent in both. In CFB with CFB coaching limitations (both in terms of talent and time constraints), it's just unrealistic to think you can develop both since he'll only be here 3-4 years.
