DiNardo was doomed when he was stubborn about Tepper and McConnell. I remember after he was fired he gave an interview at his restaurant where he said he didn't bring in Rodriguez because everyone wanted him to hire some genius who would tell him how to coach.

And now his friend Les Miles is in danger of doing the same thing with Malveto. If Les fixes this, and we get back to coaching our talented players properly, then we are right back in this thing both short and long term.

If he is stubborn about his friends, then we're right back to the early and late 90's with talented players and bad coaching, and losing records.
