Ask a Texas A&M fan…they’ve been exactly that for over a decade.
I’m not exactly sure how it works but as long as someone like Bama or Georgia is up there winning their little brother complex is adequately fulfilled.
They’ve got the 5th most sport debt of any school and absolutely nothing to show for it on the field. Let’s not even get into the coaching contracts they’ve signed that will cost them long after said coach is gone…
