re: What are your earliest memories of hunting/fishing?

Very first time sitting in the stand alone. My dad gave me a shotgun with only one shell. He was worried about me getting overly excited if I hit something and tried to climb down forgetting to safe the gun.

Anyway, 2 yearling does came out and took the one shot I had. I missed. They didn't run so I had to watch them for the next hour or so as a constant reminder of how much of a loser I was.
