I have looked back and the same is true for every eastern division school prior to 2012.
Prior to the addition of AtM and Mizzou in 2012, I believe they always scheduled games home and away in back-to-back years once conference play had set rules regarding how many games needed to be played.
The 2019/2020 thing was an anomaly due to the 2020 COVID season being all SEC play. Otherwise, we would not have played Vandy in 2020.
