re: What’s the wildest thing you’ve even seen in person

When I was 10 or 11 I was on my way back from a camping trip with my grandpa. We were coming over the willamette pass between Bend and Eugene, it was the middle of the summer so the weather was beautiful. Not a cloud in the sky, no snow, nothing.

We were riding behind a semi with no trailer when said semi suddenly lost control going around a very tight hairpin corner and hit the guardrail head on. Two people in the truck went through the windshield and over the guardrail. It was well over a hundred feet down a sheer cliff to the creek bed below where they landed. I will never forget that moment as long as I live.

And no. They definitely didn’t live.
