New album dropped today, but if you own anything they’ve done since 2010 you’ve already got it.

My favorite band, but I’d like to see a change in producer at this point. I like the album, but if you mixed up the last 3 albums I’m not sure the average person could put them into 3 separate baskets.

This is the problem…there is nothing wrong with Sevendust material…they’ve always had good songs, but their “sound” needs a complete overhaul…the guitar tones, drum sounds, etc. needs help. Badly.

I’m a huge Sevendust fan.
It’s probably their best album from the last few years. There aren’t any huge hits but it’s a safe album from top to bottom. It reminds me of Seasons.

I’m going to see them and Static-X in October. I’m just a fan of their first three albums. I think instead of making new records, just tour and play the hits.

Not to pick nits, but Enemy and Face To Face were on their 4th album, Seasons…Seasons was not well received, but it’s my favorite Sevendust album. Every song on that album is great.

I just started listening to Sevendust. Saw them in May and did a listen through of all their albums recently, and this post hit the nail on the head. The first few albums they had were great, but the sound of their music was different as time past and never liked it much either.
