I just started some pepper seeds(5 varieties-I think) from a variety pack in those little seed starter pots one can find at Walmart. I don't really have any expectations for this year-it's more of a practice thing since I am a newb at almost all that is gardening. Not sure where you are, but with fall coming up in a couple months, those pepper plants won't like weather if it gets cold where you are located.
All my pepper plants do very well during the heat of summer so I get them in the ground no later than April.
