Bossier exists solely to accommodate white flight from S'Port. It is symptomatic of the illness of the larger community. Just as W. Monroe is white flight from Monroe.
And Ruston exists to accommodate Temple Baptist and La. Tech (but only for so long as it is a SBC bastion).
None of these communities are very promising unless you want to evangelize your neighbors on their way out of town.

To be perfectly honest, there's no SAFE areas in America with the direction we're going.
Some will just take longer to decline than others. Louisiana will only continue its decline, unfortunately. Places to hide will only get fewer.

Bossier was here way before the white flight days, and it’s always been a pretty decent place to live. I know it’s popular on TD to bash all things Louisiana though.
