Bowl Predictions

Last week I said Independence Bowl against Notre Dame. Most folks were saying Cotton.
This week the ESPN guys dropped LSU to the Peach, and those guys still think LSU will win next week.

I AM VERY HAPPY. LSU WON THE NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP LAST YEAR. THAT IS AWESOME.
BUT THAT IS NO REASON TO STOP WATCHING FOOTBALL, AND ANYONE WHO WATCHES FOOTBALL KNOWS THAT THIS LSU TEAM IS NOT A STRONG TEAM.
I THINK THEY ARE ROUGHLY EQUAL TO ARKANSAS, BUT ON THE ROAD I GIVE THE EDGE TO ARKANSAS.
I think the Peach against Boston College would be great, because I live in Georgia now and might make the trip. But I suspect that the Independence is more likely. Of course, I have no idea who their partner would be, but Notre Dame would do a lot for LSU's confidence.

Beat Arkansas and I think you go to the Chick-Fil-A or the Music City. Lose and I believe its Music City or Liberty. With Arkansas out of the bowl picture now, the Conference wont have enough bowl eligible teams to fulfil its commitments to the Indy or PapaJohns.com bowl. IMHO

LaTECH is 7-4 and will most likely finish with 8 wins against a poor Idaho team. I doubt it will happen, but from a 'ticket sales' standpoint it would be cool to see the Tigers vs. the 'Dogs in the I-Bowl. Dooley is doing some good things in Ruston.
