Do you really think the NCAA can prohibit NIL deals, that will be another lawsuit.
The only thing they may be able to rein in is the collectives.

As far as healthcare goes, why should schools have to bear that cost after playing days are over? The only thing I would support is continued care for injuries sustained during their college careers.

I do think the transfer portal should have some restrictions and that would help curb the tampering or NIL inducements to lure transfers. I don't know what the solution is though. It's kind of hard to go back once the NCAA opened the floodgates.

It’s more to prohibit types of NIL deals, especially from boosters, if I read it correctly.

Maybe if they have some sort of injury while playing and again that is a big maybe.

Something that I always thought was kind of crappy was when a player committed to a school and suffered a career ending injury in High School they no longer had the scholarship offer. Maybe they should receive a scholarship that doesn't count towards the active roster but instead of playing they can serve as a trainer or in some other capacity in the Athlectic Department. It doesn't happen that often so it shouldn't be that big of a burden for the school.

That is exactly what they are trying to accomplish. Regulate greed, not stop it. The collective is now RECRUITING players to schools based on revenue. If schools get the hell sanctioned out of them for such greed it will be a deterrent.
