Any recommendations of places to take family during Mardi Gras. 12,7,2 year olds. Looking at Margaritaville Hollywood Beach, Florida Keys, drive to Marco Island? Any ideas.
Normally go snow skiing but going Christmas break this year so family wants to do warm weather and flights cheap to Fort Lauderdale/Miami.

Why not go somewhere a little further south to get warmer water that time of year?

yeah, water along the atlantic coast is going to be COLD for mardi gras (Miami, Bahamas, etc).
If I was going to pay to fly to south fla I would look at flying into Cancun instead.

Get on a cruise ship which will take you somewhere even warmer. The kids will go ballistic on an RCCL Oasis class ship, a Carnival Excel class ship, or an NCL Breakaway class ship.
It’ll probably be a helluva lot cheaper, too.
