Find me a legitimate need of the average person needing to squat or deadlift? I’ll wait. You can build strength through other movements
Is there a “need” for the average person to do benchpress or overhead press or any other compound movement? People do compound lifts because they are effective and efficient and provide easily accessible benchmarks because of just how many other people do them as well.
