Going for a long weekend during Labor Day looking for suggestions on where to stay AirBNB or other?
Would like something relatively affordable and not $500-600 a night.

Restaurants, Beaches and sights to see, so would love to hear suggestions.

We are up for UBER or a rental if necessary.

First trip to San Diego for the two of us, so wanna make it fun and special for both of us.

I’d stay at a hotel in La Jolla or on Coronado Island. Just my personal preference. Hotel La Valencia in La Jolla is our favorite. It’s a short drive into San Diego. I’d definitely rent a car.

San Diego Zoo

Balboa Park

Mt. Soledad Veterans Memorial is cool and the views are incredible

Go see the seals at La Jolla cove. My wife really enjoyed sitting on the rocks after dark. We do that almost every night when we’re there.

Great restaurants everywhere. Check out Little Italy in SD.

Eat dinner outside at Duke’s in La Jolla

I always stay in the Pacific Beach or Mission Beach area. Last time I stayed downtown and wished I were back in PB

San Diego Museum of Art at Balboa Park is awesome.

Mt. Soledad Memorial

Views from La Valencia in La Jolla. Can’t recommend this hotel enough.

A little Catholic Church in La Jolla if Mass is your kinda thing.

Torrey Pines if you’re into golf.

Duke’s La Jolla
