AP may retain the upper hand for a while in the 15/16 division. Some of the Catholic League schools in the Nola area will not allow their baseball players to compete on outside teams. In addition, rugby and lacrosse are gaining big time in popularity at a few of those schools, which is leading to attrition in baseball. Kids have better scholarship opportunities in those 2 sports than baseball.

What local kids have gotten college scholarships in these sports recently? I know of a few in rugby but there are 10x more kids locally going to play college baseball.
