They are tearing out the bridge there to build a wider one.
Will be a cluster f for a while. Luckily they don't work on the weekends, so my travels was smooth going to Mississippi, but getting out will be hell until next month when they finish working on the I-10 bridge over the Pearl.
LA DOTD needs to take notes on how to solve problems. Unlike the problems on US 90 that will not be addressed until 2026 when they can build a new bridge.
