ALPA has very much fought to keep them employed as a pilot. A few years ago a Delta pilot checked into work to operate an MSP-SAN flight and he was multiple times the legal limit. He had also been caught on video trying to dispose of a vodka bottle before going through security. ALPA fought for him to stay employed as a pilot. Are you really ok with that?
