We are not even in the top 25. It is just starting to sink in. Not Good.

Total lack of discipline, pride, leadership, and shitty tackling will do that to you.

It's like waking up the next morning after pulling a good drunk, looking at the ugly, fat, naked bitch next to you and hoping your roomy didn't let you drink that much.

I can remember when I was anxious to see if we were in the polls. Don't wanna be there again. Guess I just took it for granted for a while now.

I truly believe that with a new DC, EXPERIENCED QB, and a TREMENDOUS recruiting class, next year and the years to follow will be back up to our high standards of the past few years.

Just think we wouldnt be going through all of this self-destruction if RP was our QB. We would have won vs. Alabama and actually have been in the game vs. Georgia and Ole Miss. We most likely wouldnt have had to go through the pain of Troy witherI know Im going to get bashed for thinking this way, but I think its true. RP fricked us. I know people will say that RP couldnt have helped the defense, but dont you think if the offense had the confidence of the defense, they would play their asses off for all 4 quarters, and not just 1 or 2? I do.

Top priority is new DC, most definitely.

To get back into the national title talk, yes. Im talking about a successful 2 maybe 3 loss season next year, where we wont be massively outplayed by lesser competition, but where we will be in games until the final minutes and in the end get beat by the other team, not get beaten by ourselves and own mistakes. I think we might have found a baller in JJ, and I sure hope to God Lee can figure his shite out too because its obvious he can play but its just the mental aspect of it he needs to get down.

this is the worst display of fanhood ive ever seen. grow a pair of nuts. you lost a few games, shut the hell up. youve only been at the top of college football for six or seven years. youve been in the middle of the pack and lower before, and you can easily get out like you did before.

There you go. Every now and then it feels good to just let it out. and then put a new one back in.

As a jayhawk alum, myself, I can say that if we would have lost to Roy in the NCAA Tourny, you would've felt the same. Self would be questioned. Roy would be placed upon a pedestal (though to contrast, he never won shite with all of the talent he had). You've also never had to experience piss poor coach after piss poor coach. Naismith, Phog, Roy, Self...Has KU ever been bad at basketball? Also, we didn't easily get out before. It took great recruiting and great coaching.

Read my above post(second one in this thread). That pretty much sums it up. Its not a bad display of fanhood, its seeing the truth.

We should be happy we won a NC. Look at UGA. They get to be preseason #1 every other year and never even get to the NC game. It could be worse.

To be honest, I'm surprised we were in the top 25 as long as we were!
