re: Workplace / Authority anxiety

Suppose I don’t need the praise. I could have left that part out. I am a natural encourager and have always found it easy to point out the best in people and recognize hard work. If you aren’t insecure about it, I don’t know why you wouldn’t recognize excellent work. Especially these days!

One thing I know I could do better is protect my mentality from the constant criticism over inconsequential things. I do find myself replaying conversations in my head in the drive home and ruminating over things before I fall asleep. Shouldn’t let that dude live rent free in my brain. Some days just wanna sock him though.

Again, I never worry about my position as I’m one of the most valuable parts of our company. If I were to be dismissed I could find work quickly. I love my job. Just hate who I work for.
