Many on this board, imo, defend Miles because we want to hope for the best. He is the coach so, support him or... so the thought process goes.

Then, we look at the won-loss record and based on that, it seems you have to support him. But it's not about the won-loss record. I know that sounds weird.

At times, LSU has won .... seemingly in spite of coaching decisions. I can't name games but I know there have been some. In other cases, we have just had better athletes. In other cases, we had very good fortune. Last week, we shouldn't have beaten Troy.

The thing that I see that bothers me is the constant penalties... late into the season for things like... illegal substitution, delay of game etc... Those type of penalties shouldn't happen late into the season. Miles approach to football seems to be to "out tough" everybody.

I think Miles is a good man and, hopefully, he gets this turned around but.., I'm not confident.

it sounds weird because it's just plain wrong. In college football, it's all about the record.

I guess I need to change that cause I get this all the time. . All the time... No, I'm a tiger fan in Georgia. Very straight. 3 kids... But I need to change my name.

Stevo... you're right. That's why, even though, I don't think he will cut it.. he won't be fired until he loses. I just think our good fortune has run out.

I dont think he needs to be fired. Just needs a QB that can manage a game not win it. Scott needs to get the ball more imo.

it is unfair and unrealistic to attribute all of his success to fortune. Looking forward, if we hire a top notch DC, we'll be back in the hunt.

I agree with your point, but believe addressing the DC concern is a much more pressing matter.
