As with so many in the current generation they take things way too far and make massive over generalizations instead of just using common sense.
As an 80s child with young kids currently, there are a few things in there I try to do parts of at times.
We literally couldn't afford dinner out, vacations or grabbing a toy from time to time very often when I was little, so I love to be able to do those things for my kids more often. However, I dang sure make sure to sometimes say NO and hold firm because learning you can't get everything you want is one of the most important lessons in life.
I also make sure to assure my kids that though discipline never means they aren't very very much loved and remind them quickly of that after they are disciplined. So, yes I want them to be willing to admit to their mistakes as they get older, but that doesn't mean there won't be discipline.
All in all, there are some small parts of this that most would agree with, but as usual, this generation takes it waaaay to far and craps all over common sense.

I agree with these.
1. My kids will never get perfect attendance at school.
8. You never have to hug anybody you don’t want too. Nothing else needs to be said here.
10. I never want you to be afraid to tell me that you messed up. I want to be your first call, I will be your safe space.
I totally plan to pull my kids out of school for trips.
Making kids hug people is weird and creepy. If they don't want to, that's ok.
I teach my kids to tell me when they frick up. They may still get in trouble but I don't lose my shite on them.
If they're afraid to tell you that they spilled a cup of milk, you think they'll tell you something that could really get them on a bad path?
The rest is just soft arse bullshite.
