Idk if that translates. The top 3 academic SEC schools are Vandy, UF and TAMU. None of those are athletic powerhouses. UF is the only one that has an argument.
Has this been true historically? I know Stanford fits the mold but I always assumed their NC total was based on playing every sport imaginable.
