Prytania is showing it in 70mm. Better to see on standard 70mm or fake IMAX?

I didn’t realize that, thanks for pointing that out. Now I have a decision to make too. Their projection is usually top notch. The only problem is that the aspect ratio will not be as correct as Lie-max. I think I’ll see Lie-max first, and maybe check out Prytania before it leaves

Wondering the same thing. Minneapolis has:
"IMAX at AMC"
"IMAX with Laser"
Dolby Cinema
70mm
Digital

Depends on what you’re after I think
Fake IMAX is likely still a better theater experience in that it’ll be louder, bigger and all that, but I believe I’ve read that since the aspect ratio is different, but the visuals will not be as crisp and I believe some pieces of the screen may get cut off due to the different aspect ratios.
Standard 70mm will look a lot better but will probably not blow you away on the audio and scale
