I am looking for a new game to pass away the hours when the wife is out of town.
Any of these better or worse than the other?

i've heard Dead Space is pretty short (said like 35 hours to complete), and I haven't read up much on Resistance, I guess it's just personal preference. They all would probably take up good time

That's pretty long to me. Better than the 8-10 hours you get from a lot of games nowadays. Go with Dead Space. It lacks multiplayer, but its a freakin' badass game. From what it sounds, you wouldn't be interested in the MP anyway. Play with the lights low and the sound high for a real thrill.

resistance is bad arse and has cool multiplayer.
my next purchase is going to be dead space when i get some more time on my hands.
at the end of the day you should try to play all three cus they are all really good games.

left 4 dead is really fun if you like online play.

Thanks for the input guys. Online multi-player is a non-issue for me so if Left for Dead focuses on that it will be third on my list. I think I will go with Dead Space. I havent played a good zombie game recently.
