We need something, that's for damn sure. As disappointed as I am in the offense, at least that's somewhat understandable given the QB situation.

The defense, on the other hand, is ETREMELY disappointing. The one group that should be head and shoulders above the rest of the league is our D-line, and those guys couldn't get off a block if the devil himself had them by the balls and said he'd let go if they made a play. For crying out loud, the D-line starts, on any given Saturday, THREE, count 'em, THREE SENIORS!!!!!

LSU should OWN the damned line of scrimmage, but we have been getting gouged all season long. Rahim Alem is the ONLY guy who seems to play with ANY intensity. Tyson Jackson hasn't made a play since the middle of last season. Neither has Pittman.

And don't get me started on what our coaches call pass defense. How many freakin' times are we gonna have receivers running wideass open in a game?!?!?!?!? This bullcrap 'soft' zone that we're playing makes Charmin seem like brillo pads.

And our linebackers? I don't think I've ever seen a group so inept at tackling as this bunch. They ran past plays, never got near them or got in position and simply whiffed on the tackle.

I hate to say it, but, right now, I'm not sure we can get past Arkansas - certainly not with the crappy defense we're playing.

Miles is gonna have to make changes after this season, or he will surely do to himself what Dinardo did.

What's truly sad is the defense has been playing worse, not better, as the season has progressed, and we haven't suffered any major injuries.

For the most part, it's the same guys out there playing, but they are not improving.

this is bo's shitty scheme that we are running, bo got exploited in the tennesse comeback and all last year vs ky, fla, ark. bo had the players a little more ready to play, we one the national championship in spite of our defense, its just too frickin easy for the opposing offense to match up a rb/wr on our poor coverage lb's or danny mcray, why do we use a 4 man rush and still have 1 on 1 coverage on the wideouts? like in overtime vs alabama with pp on julio and only rushed 4 people and leave their only reciever threat alone with pp with no help over the top. A highschool coach wouldnt of let percy harvin get matched up with darry beckwith man coverage while only bringing a 4 man rush

I don't understand it either, its bc they have been with him and bo wanted peveto so he decided well peveto's special teams and linbackers have sucked so let's give him a shot at co dc so bo wont take his buddy bc he sucks as a coach but is a great guy
