Got lost around the same time women stopped cooking and cleaning... which all goes back to the 19th Amendment.

I’m a stickler for elevator etiquette too. Women enter before I do and exit before I do. I’ve taught this to my male kids. Older women appreciate it; younger women seem confused by it.
