Not exactly. Contact to Titan was lost at about 3500M, or about 11,500'. The weight of water is .0361 lb-force per square inch. 11,500' of depth equals 138000 vertical inches of water column, or 4981.8 PSI.
It still went boom pretty quick. Don't know about that "vanished like magic" part.
