Not to get all Chevy Truck on y'all, but Seger basically tapped into the people in Middle America that sang about real things.

Coming off of the 60s, you had people like the Beach boys singing about California and surfing...Near the end you got the protest music of the Vietnam era and the hippie era.

His music just hits that spot of what it means to grow up as an American. His sound was a cultural touchstone.

Fantastic stuff. Great lyrics combined with unique simple chord progressions.

His catalog is DEEP.

Seger has hits he probably forgot were hits, he has so many hits.

I was stoked to see him at Jazz Fest a couple years ago but he had to cancel.

Bob Seger is American music. Sadly from a bygone era.

I love Bob Seger and can’t stand Night Moves which is odd since it’s probably his most liked song
