All Texas needs is a OSU win next week in they are in...

Tech is going to drop to far to make their way back to BCS #2. Even if they beat Mizzou in Big 12 champ game.

Wrong. If OSU beats OU next week then Texas Tech is going to the Big 12 championship while Texas is sitting at home.
Texas Tech beat Texas so therefore they own the tie breaker if there is a two team tie.
You are thinking about if there is a three team tie then they look at the BCS but if OU loses to OSU there won't be a three way tie anymore.

Actually you are wrong. He already stated that Tech would go to the Big 12 Title and that it wouldn't matter even if they beat Mizzou.

You obviously didn't read my post. I reaize TTU goes to Big XII if OU losses to OSU. But even with a win in the Big XII champ game they won't pass Texas in BCS ranking. TTU will drop like a rock after this beat down.

They will not put in Texas in over TTech. TTech will only drop to 6-7 and a win in the Big 12 championship by easy fashion would force the rankings to rank them higher.

Texas will crush Tech in the Computers and we'll pick up more than enough from the Coaches and the Harris to secure our spot over Tech in the Final Standings.

when they do that, it still doesn't change the outcome of the Red River Shootout. That sure makes Gideon's (missed) interception and the missed tackles in Lubbock pretty f'n significant.

Wrong. They probably fall to 8 or 9. Then beating a 2 loss Mizzou team in the Big XII champ game isn't going to get them back to #2. OU would be gone because of the loss to OSU. That would leave Texas to play the winner of the SEC champ game.

Something will happen that will not put Texas over Tech if this happens. If it does, Leach being as smart as he is might corrupt the BCS.

Another option is for Baylor to somehow upset Tech next week. While very unlikely we are talking about Tech. This gets Texas into the Big XII title game.
