I beg to differ sir. Last Friday night my water was 93°. Saturday I went to Splash and picked up a couple of those PVC things that attach to the pool return. White with some blue and yellow flower looking thing on the end. Cut the blue plastic leaf looking thing off and painted them gray. Ran it for a few days, works great. My engineer buddy explained the concept of latent heat of vaporization. If the air temperature at night drops low enough, and you can turn your pool pump RPMs high enough to get a good spray, they do work. This morning pool temperature was 85°.

By the way, I had called the pool guy and he quoted me $3300 for a chiller. Two of those spray things from Splash were $70…
