My advice is to cling to Jesus and fight each day to become the man you want/have to be. I would even urge you to not even do it for them right now because those goalposts will constantly change due to the pain YOU have caused. Accept their anger and pain because it’s real, but use it as fuel to become the person God wants you to be. The only thing that can fix this is hard work, time, forgiveness and grace. God will give those to you for free but unfortunately you’ll have to earn that back from your family.
